VegFest Los Angeles

Have you ever been curious about going vegan? VegFest Los Angeles is a wonderful day that is filled with food, fun, and inspiration. With a delicious vegan international food court, great live music, empowering speakers on health, environmental, humanitarian and animal topics, kids' activities, animal adoptions, an eco-marketplace with over 150 vendors, and more, it's an unforgettable earth-friendly experience sure to be enjoyable for all!

So what is VegFest Los Angeles all about? "It's the largest vegan festival in Los Angeles," says Billy Hulting, Director and Producer of VegFestLA. "Our mission is to introduce people to a compassionate lifestyle with food and products – and we to do it in a fun way. People can absorb it all at their own pace and in their own way"

VegFest Los Angeles provides information for people who are curious about how the vegan lifestyle affects your body and how this diet is a positive force for the environment.

And you can't go wrong with the food! There are over 90 foods exhibiting this year with everything from Mexican food, Indian food, Italian food, and Asian food to name a few. There will be croutons, chips, vegan ice cream, donuts, pizza, drinks like kombucha and much, much more. It's an incredible variety of cuisine – and it's all delicious.

VegFest Los Angeles supports the vegan lifestyle by introducing people to different products and services, displaying everything from vegan web shows, apparel and shoes to soaps and animal-friendly cosmetics!

Here's what's happening at VegFest Los Angeles:

There will be panels to inspire people throughout the day. Speakers include actress Alicia Silverstone, who will be talking about Vegan Parenting and panels on Athletes, Health, Social Media, and Animal Rights by such people as Agnes Muljadi, a Los Angeles based vegan ballerina and wellness coach, Carey Kidd, a vegan powerlifter, Chef Babette, a world-class healthy chef, and social media star Supreme Banana, Gene Baur from Farm Sanctuary among many others. There will also be plenty of high-energy tunes to celebrate the day! These include roots-reggae-cumbia performer Johnny Luv, Down North, a soul-punk band from Seattle, and Grammy Award-winning band Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea. And The Turners will close out the show!

To discover more about how to go vegan in your own home, visit The Learning Kitchen, the food and cooking demo destination! Amazing chefs will share practical meals that you can make in no time!

Come out and explore the Mind-Body-Space. This healing oasis is focused on love, gratitude, and spirituality to create positive change. There will be yoga, dancing, sound healing, flow, tribal marking, art, meditation, essential oils, DJ's and just generally loving vibes!

And don't forget to bring the littles to the Kids' Kingdom! There will be comedy, magic, music, arts & crafts, and face painting! VegFest L.A.’s Kids’ Kingdom is said to be the best of any festival of it’s kind.

There is also the Oasis Beer and Wine Garden where you can just relax and hang out and share a beer, wine, or margarita with friends. The Oasis is right by the Main Stage so you’ll be where the music is all day.

VegFest Los Angeles also offers an animal adoption area, where you can meet the animals and then fill out an application to take them back to your loving home. And cats and dogs are not alone in needing forever homes – this year there is an animal organization where you can apply to bring home a duck!
