The Arcwood Restaurant and Wine Bar

If you are looking for relaxation and a stunning ambience, The Arcwood Restaurant and Wine Bar is a dream come true. This California inspired wine bar and restaurant is now open at Village Walk in Tarzana.

With an amazing dining room and a beautiful outdoor covered patio at your disposal, you are sure to treasure your time here when drinking a glass of vino or enjoying some of their fabulous cuisine. Bring your family and friends to relax and relish your night at this impressive spot. This upscale neighborhood wine bar and restaurant exemplifies California's charm and elegance. The Arcwood's world class, hand-selected wine list boasts over 60 selections, from California and all over the world, with over 30 by-the-glass. These include varietal wines – a wine made primarily from a single named grape variety like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot, and wine blends which display the name of two or more varieties on their label.

White wines offered range from the 2016 Paco and Lola Albarino from Spain with fresh citrus and an intense fruity mouth, to the 2015 White Knight Viognier from Clarksburg with hints of white peaches and honeyed apples.

Or, try a glass of red wine, such as the 2016 Abstract Red Blend by Orin Swift in California with notes of Luxardo cherries, ripe black plums and raspberries or the 2016 La Storia Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley with blueberries, blackberry and black licorice. The chef inspired menu is nothing short of mouth watering. Start your meal with the Chopped Salad, which features romaine lettuce, market tomatoes, salumi, house olives, red onion, peppers, basil, parmesan and sherry. Or try the Frisee Salad with dried cranberries, goat cheese, and candied nuts with a raspberry vinaigrette.

For your main course you can't go wrong with the marvelous 20oz Dry-Aged Rib Eye, seasoned with salt, olive oil and chimichurri. For poultry aficionados there is the Brick Press Chicken, an organic half chicken with fingerling, brocolini and pan sauce. The menu also features Lamb Chops with a sweet pea puree, balsamic chutney and fried mint. Seafood lovers can choose from the Mussels, Crab Cake, Octopus and Branzino.
