Savinar Luggage in Canoga Park

Planning to take a trip? Then stop by Savinar Luggage in Canoga Park. They carry everything you need to pack up and prepare for your excursion, with everything from high-end luggage to travel safety accessories.

Savinar Luggage is a family-owned company that was established in 1916 by Harry Savinar. The store was then passed down from generation to generation until current owner Mark Stern took over. Mark has been in the luggage business for over 45 years. He is also super close with the Savinar family and is proud to live up to the reputation that Savinar Luggage has established over the years.

While you can shop for luggage on Amazon or in a department store sale – their prices are always much more costly than Savinar Luggage's prices. As well Savinar Luggage gives people the best selection and expertise because all employees have at least 15 years of luggage experience – they know their stuff!

What makes Savinar unique is that it carries only luggage, travel items, and business cases. So when you come into the store there is a wide selection for your perusal. The store in Canoga Park is over 8000 square feet along with a warehouse, and Savinar's Los Angeles location is over 12,000 square feet.

Savinar Luggage carries all the major brands, including Briggs And Riley – which is the number one line on the market today, Victorinox, Swiss Army, Samsonite, Delsey, Brics, Hartmann, Tumi, and so many more major lines.

"Why I love my business is that most of my customers are going on a nice vacation, such as an organized trip, on their own or cruises," says Mark. "We help them whether they want large suitcases or small suitcases. We are also one of the few stores that can explain to a customer what airline regulations are in terms of a carry-on and check through pieces."

Many famous people have been customers of the store over their 100 years of business. These include Maureen McCormick (Marsha from the Brady Bunch), Smokey Robinson, Franki Valli, Sinbad, Fleetwood Mac, members of the James Taylor Band, First Lady Nancy Reagan, and many, many more.

Savinar Luggage also offers corporate sales and has worked with companies such as Braemar Country Club, various law firms, Amgen, and many more. You can also get repair services on any of the major lines. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a new suitcase than to fix the old one – but Savinar Luggage leaves that decision to the customer.

The company also carries travel safety accessories. These include Airplane Pockets which cover the tray in front of you when you fly, UV Boxes where you can put your mask, or cellphone, which will kill 99.9% of viruses and germs, and the best and safest face mask on the market – which features a separate chamber for your nose and mouth.

"Whether the customer is buying a 10 dollar item or a 1000 dollar item, they're all treated the same," says Mark. "I don't care if someone buys something or not – I just want to make sure they got treated right and got proper service."

When you stop by Savinar Luggage, Mark will give you two free luggage tags or two free KN95 masks – no purchase necesaary!

Savinar Luggage is located at 6931 Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Canoga Park. You can reach them by phone at (818) 703-1313. The Los Angeles location is at 4625 W. Washington Blvd. in Los Angeles. Their phone number is (323) 938-2501.
