Here are a few tips when you are planning a move. Organization is key. If you have something that's valuable to you, pack it first! That way it won't get damaged or lost. As well, it's better to keep small items contained within specific boxes. Write everything down! You'll thank yourself later. Have a plan for what you want moved. Take measurements of you’re furniture and your new home to have a place for all you’re furniture it will save you time and money on your move. Designate a color for each room in the new home, such as yellow for kitchen, orange for the dining room, etc. Apply colored stickers on the box near the box number. And don't forget, you'll need LOTS of boxes.

If you have any specific instructions let your mover know and they will handle it – so you don't have to stress out.
