Dr. Anatoly Vaisman, DDS

Keeping your teeth and mouth healthy is great for your appearance, your smile and your self-esteem. That's why it's so important to keep regular appointments with your dentist.

Dr. Anatoly Vaisman, DDS is a dentist who truly is attentive to his patients. Dr. Vaisman is a 1995 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry with hundreds of hours of advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implantology and short-term orthodontics. But his patients love him because of his caring, funny and gentle bedside manner. Skill and compassion go hand in hand, and Dr. Vaisman insures that he stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options. He attends dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize.

Dr. Vaisman's practice provides treatment for families, adults, teens and everyone in between. He creates a foundation of trust by treating patients as special individuals. Some of the services the practice provides are cleanings, extractions, x-rays, cosmetic dentistry like veneers, dental implants, and teeth whitening – which can be done in under an hour. As well he performs crowns, treatment of periodontal disease, and orthodontics. He uses “power braces” where teeth move faster and safer than ever before with invisible, comfortable brackets that get teeth straight in six months or less. During oral surgery he uses lasers – which create no shot-no drilling dentistry. “With lasers we are able to do fillings that do not require anesthetic or drilling,” says Dr. Vaisman. “It helps remove bacteria beneath the gum line without a scalpel and without pain. The laser is much more gentle on your teeth than a drill would be.”

Dr. Vaisman suggests that you visit your dentist at least twice a year, but truthfully he says, a cleaning every 90 days is the really the best option for your teeth. “Bacteria repopulates every 90 days. Just brushing is not going to do it,” he says. “You need to do preventative care so you can fix something early before it becomes catastrophic.”

Dentistry can change lives. When someone is ashamed of their smile their self-image plummets. Visit Dr. Vaisman – because when your teeth look good, you'll exude more confidence, and that can make you truly happy.

Dr. Vaisman's practice is located at 11273 Laurel Canyon Blvd. in San Fernando. You can call (818) 365-7191 to make an appointment or log onto
