Downtown San Diego Brewery Tour

If you love drinking craft beer, you'll love the Downtown San Diego Brewery Tour. Named one of America's most unique beer tours by Forbes Travel, they combine San Diego's infamous craft beer scene and world renowned coastline into an all-inclusive beer adventure.

Hitch a ride on the open-air Vintage Swiss Safari Vehicles – called a Pinzgauer – which are built for the ultimate beer exploration. The Downtown San Diego Brewery Tour picks you up at a designated spot, Old Town Coaster Station. Explore one brewery after then next while chugging ice cold beers on the road in style. Each tour guide is a home-brewer – they even pass out samples of their beer and are ready to answer any questions you might have. You will also be treated to amazing ocean views, and you can enjoy the fresh air thanks to the open design. The vehicles feature six rugged wheels, seating for twelve, and an intimate design. Everyone you see will be jealous and want to hop aboard!

You'll stop at three different San Diego Craft Breweries and enjoy three to four Craft Beer Tasters at each spot! Choose from breweries including Coronado Brewing, Ballast Point, Bay City Brewery, Stone Brewery Taproom, Fall Brewing Company, Bitter Brothers, Culture, Mike Hess and Modern Times. You'll also get to see an exclusive “Behind the Scenes” Production Tour at one of the breweries and lunch is included – a mouthwatering BBQ meal from Phil’s BBQ!

No matter what your kind of beer you prefer, San Diego's bustling scene offers an assortment of incredible IPA's, Ales, Lagers, Porters, and Stouts – whatever your heart desires. Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience. Whether it's family, friends, work buddies, or even just complete strangers, remember... no one does a beer tour better than Scavengers! Public Tours usually take 4 to 5 hours and prices range from $89-$125 per person. You'll also receive a Scavengers Souvenir 6oz Tasting Glass.

Scavengers also offer beer tours in San Diego's North County with where you can stop at three of the following breweries: Rip Current, ToolBox, Bagby Brewery, Booze Bros, Belching Beaver, Iron Fist, Lost Abbey/Port, Mother Earth Taproom or Barrel Harbor.

Or create your own unique Custom Beer or Cocktail Safari Tour where you can choose your own adventure! The Cocktail Safari includes Ballast Point Canned Cocktail en route, world-famous Mai Tais, mouth-watering hot sandwiches, amazing Tiki drinks, Old Harbor Distillery, and local spirits!
