A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline is a moving tribute to the music, the life and the times of Patsy Cline. During the show, we follow her rise to stardom from her hometown in Virginia to the Grand Ole Opry, Las Vegas, and Carnegie Hall.
Michele McRae is Patsy Cline and her voice is a stunning rendition of country's sweetheart. The show begins with an introduction from WINC Radio on March 5, 1963. Michael German plays Little Big Man and he intersperses Patsy's rocking tunes with his comedic wit and nostalgia.
The show offers various locales at which Patsy performed. These locations are identified simply by relying on the commentary of Little Big Man and a change in Patsy's costume.

Patsy Cline packed a lot of great music into her short life. Tragically, she died in an airplane crash March 5, 1963, but her enduring musical legacy endures.
She is the number one juke-box play in the world. Her Greatest Hits album has sold over 9 million copies, and has been in first place for over 200 weeks of her 700 weeks on Billboard's "Top Country Catalog Albums." On March 1, 1995, Patsy was memorialized with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and on August 3rd, 1999, she was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
